Curly hair routine

I decided to start off with a post dedicated to those curly heads out there! I remember finally finding the perfect routine for my hair. Now first things first, there's different types of curly hair. There's those who have more beachy waves, where as others tend to have more spirally curls. To find out what type of curly hair you've got, I'd recommend visiting this amazing site called 'Naturally curly'. They have the perfect description and also give you some good products to use as well. So I'm not going to talk details about that. What I do want to share is a wash routine, which I have used ever since I came up with it. The products I recommend are either really like the products I use or simply are them. I like to share products that are available online, so that everyone can order them from anywhere around the world. At least I try to as much as possible. So let's get started!

1. First, you got to wet your hair (of course). Note: don't detangle your hair when dry, it can damage your curls. It can also make your curls frizzy or simply 'de-curl' them (if that's even a word).
2. After your hair's equally wet, start to add some shampoo. Personally, I don't use more then 2-3 table spoons, but if you feel like your hair needs some more you can add some. Though I feel like you should minimalize the use of shampoo, since the chemicals in it can damage your hair.
I like to use coconut based products for my hair, especially in my shampoo. The shampoo I use is Inecto Pure Coconut Oil Shampoo (€3,99) - available on Amazon as well.

3. After dividing the shampoo all over your hair and massaging it in, feel free to wash it out. Now add the conditioner to your hair. I like to use the coconut conditioner from Inecto as well as conditioners with Argan oil in them. Argan oil is really good for your hair, so I also recommend that one. I recently heard of the OGX Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Conditioner (€9,99), which I think is a keeper so far on.

So after you applied the conditioner throughout your hair, wait about 3 min. to let it soak in. Then instead of washing it out, now's the time to comb out your hair. I definitely DO NOT recommend using a comb on dry hair based on personal experiences. I always do it whenever I got my conditioner in.
4. When your hair's fully detangled, you can now wash out all the conditioner.
5. Another huge tip that saved my life. When you get out of the shower, DO NOT dry your hair with a towel. That will only make it frizz more and make your curls appear less gorgeous. Just let it naturally dry out by putting it up in a T-shirt or something like that. I usually make a ''hat'' out of an old panty, wear it on my head, put on some beanies and that's it. When it's dried out, your curls will look absolutely beautifull. I promise!

Just another tip: If you don't got time to let it dry out like that or you like the wash your hair in the mornings before you go, just do this routine at night. Still do not use a towel, just wear your hair up with for example a T-shirt and go to bed like that. The next morning it will be dry enough, so that you will not have wet hair when you leave the house.

Good luck! Hopefully it will change your life as it did with mine!
